Our Story

Rooted in the Foothills of the Cascades

Goat Rocks Winery was born from a simple conviction: that the unique terroir of the Cowiche Valley — with its well-drained gravel soils, cool mountain breezes, and long, sun-drenched growing seasons — produces wines of extraordinary character.

Since 2004, our family has tended estate vineyards at the base of the Goat Rocks Wilderness, crafting small-lot wines that express the wild, untamed spirit of this place. We believe great wine is made in the vineyard first, and our hands-on approach from pruning to bottling ensures every vintage reflects the care we pour into the land.

Whether you join us for a quiet tasting overlooking the valley or a celebration under the stars, you'll find that Goat Rocks is more than a winery — it's a destination where the landscape itself becomes the finest ingredient.
